End-to-end Latin American Spanish dubbing and localization, from script to delivery.
ES-LATAM Dubbing
Short Drama · Streaming · Film & TV · Games
Sound Ally delivers complete Latin American Spanish dubbing across content formats. For short drama and streaming series, we provide episode-based workflows with recurring cast management, ensuring voice consistency across seasons and rapid turnaround for high-volume release schedules. Our dubbing covers lip-sync and time-sync modes, calibrated to the pacing and register of each project.
For film and television, we handle feature-length and episodic dubbing with full creative direction, working from M&E stems or full mixes as provided. Dialogue is adapted and performed to match on-screen emotion, timing, and mouth movement, delivering a localized track that feels native to Latin American audiences.
For video games, we support in-game dialogue, cinematics, and UI voice-over. Recording sessions are structured around character maps and branching scripts, with direction tailored to interactive delivery. Branded and corporate narrative content is also supported, with tone and terminology aligned to your brand guidelines.
Translation & Adaptation
Every dubbing project begins with accurate, culturally grounded translation. Our translators work in Latin American Spanish with attention to regional register, idiomatic expression, and audience expectations. Scripts are adapted rather than literally translated, ensuring dialogue sounds natural when performed.
Cultural localization goes beyond word substitution. We adjust humor, references, formality levels, and pacing to suit ES-LATAM viewers and listeners. For serialized content, glossaries and style guides are maintained to ensure consistency across episodes. Terminology is aligned to your brand or franchise requirements where applicable.
Adaptation also accounts for lip-sync constraints. Dialogue length and phonetic shape are considered during the writing phase so that performers can deliver lines naturally within the timing of the original picture.
Casting & Voice Direction
Casting is managed against detailed character profiles provided by the client or developed collaboratively during pre-production. We source professional ES-LATAM voice talent suited to each role, providing audition recordings for client review and approval before sessions begin.
For serialized content, we manage cast continuity across episodes and seasons, maintaining talent availability and backup plans. Creative voice direction is provided throughout recording to ensure performances match the tone, emotion, and pacing of the original content.
Direction sessions can be attended remotely by clients or stakeholders. We coordinate scheduling across time zones and provide session notes and select takes for review when needed.
Recording Sessions
Recording takes place in professionally treated environments that meet studio-grade acoustic and technical standards. Sessions are engineered to capture clean, consistent dialogue suitable for broadcast, streaming, and theatrical delivery.
We support both lip-sync and time-sync recording workflows, with engineers and directors working together to match dialogue precisely to picture. Remote-directed sessions are available, allowing clients and creative leads to participate in real time from any location.
Session scheduling is managed to accommodate multi-episode runs, large cast requirements, and tight delivery windows. All recordings are captured at 24-bit / 48 kHz minimum, with session files organized and backed up according to project protocols.
Post-Production & Mixing
After recording, dialogue is edited, cleaned, and prepared for mixing. We work with provided M&E stems, full mixes, or separated elements depending on what is available, assembling the localized audio track to match the original content structure.
Mixing is performed to meet loudness compliance standards as required by the delivery platform, including EBU R128 and ATSC A/85. Dialogue levels are balanced against music and effects to ensure clarity and consistency across the full runtime.
Deliverables are rendered in the formats and channel configurations specified by the client, with stems (DX/MX/FX) provided where required. Revision cycles are built into the workflow to address client feedback before final lock.
Surround & Immersive Audio
For projects that require surround sound delivery, we mix localized dialogue into 5.1 and 7.1 channel configurations. Placement and panning are handled to maintain spatial consistency with the original mix, ensuring the dubbed track integrates seamlessly with existing surround elements.
Where applicable, we support Dolby Atmos workflows for localized content, working with object-based audio deliverables. Immersive audio mixing is coordinated with the broader post-production pipeline to ensure format compliance and technical consistency across all deliverables.
All surround and immersive deliverables are rendered to the specifications provided by the distributor or platform, with QC performed against the target playback environment.
Music & Audio for Picture
Sound Ally provides music and audio services specifically aligned to screen content. This includes original composition, music supervision, and audio design for projects where the localized version requires adapted or replaced musical elements.
Our music work is integrated into the dubbing and post-production pipeline rather than offered as a standalone service. This ensures that any musical elements are mixed and delivered in the same format and to the same specifications as the dialogue and effects tracks.
We coordinate music clearance considerations and deliverable formatting as part of the overall project scope, working to the requirements provided by the client or distributor.
QC & Delivery Packaging
Every project undergoes quality control before delivery. QC checks cover dialogue sync accuracy, audio quality, loudness compliance, naming conventions, and format specifications. Issues are flagged and resolved internally before files leave our pipeline.
Delivery packaging is aligned to the requirements of your platform, distributor, or content aggregator. We support standard delivery specs and can adapt to custom naming conventions, folder structures, and metadata requirements as needed.
A QC checklist and delivery manifest are provided with each project, documenting the technical specifications and confirming compliance with the agreed-upon standards.
